Family Reunions – The seeds of where we’ve come from and who we have grown to be come together when parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws and assorted “out-laws” assemble at these gatherings. It’s a gold mine of untapped veins of connections and calamities. Maybe it’s an annual event, or a special occasion to celebrate a milestone birthday/anniversary. We’ll discuss strategies to help navigate these unchartered waters and role play so you can ask those puzzling questions: Why did Uncle Dick change his name from Eli Patrick? Why doesn’t Grandma Emma have a driver’s license? Does the Tiller’s new baby really look like Great Grandpa Alfred?

Within a community of like minded women we’ll share our similarities and admire our ability to change with the circumstances. We women need to be needed, but we also need to be taken care of sometimes. That’s when you need your best girlfriend!

It is to live in the present moment. It is recognizing that every person, place and thing in our lives has significance. We’ll take time to pause and ponder as we anticipate the holidays with grace and gratitude.
